I'm truly puzzled trying to understand Steve's thought process after admitting his lie to the provider he had already seen. Did he believe she would appreciate his honesty after their intimate encounter? Maybe he thought he would receive some sort of special treatment for coming clean. Frankly, I'm utterly perplexed as to how Steve thought this would work out in his favor.
All in all, I'm dumbfounded. Steve's actions have only made it more challenging for clients to navigate the already daunting screening process when seeing a provider. Now, this provider will likely make it even more difficult for the next client in every possible way. Good job, Steve.
On the bright side, Steve, this situation could have been far worse for you. Given the current climate, the provider could have easily accused you of rape after receiving this information. Consider yourself fortunate that things didn't escalate to that level.
