Honestly, I'm surprised it took Amy this long to raise her rates. None of us can really be mad at the price increase, it was at $800 for so long it almost seemed too good to be true. Even through covid the price still stayed the same which is pretty **** amazing. Now, for Amy to raise her rates from $800 to $1000 an hour still isn't a bad price for the status she still has. Amy may not be the popular actress she was, but she still has her status and is still one of the most elite companions in New York. I'd argue that a client would still book even if she would have raised it up to the basic $1500, an extra $200 is nothing compared to that.
