It seems that more and more states around the US are passing laws that forces porn sites to ask their visitors they really are 18. The users has to upload government issued id´s to prove it.
The latest state governor to do so is Andy Beshear (Kentucky). It certainly is very controversial bill.
Andy stated that "Pornography is creating a public health crisis" which is nothing less than bullshit.
He added "Pornography may also impact brain development and functioning, contribute to emotional and medical illnesses".
The consequences of these controversial bills has already been seen. Pornhub, which is the most popular adult entertainment site in the US, has already left several of the states that enforces these new laws.
It is expected that sites such as xvideos and xhamster will follow suit soon.
This is really bad news and not just for us porn/sex addicts, but for society as a whole.
