I know what the title says, but this is more meant for everyone in the community. It's getting harder and harder to do what we love and the recent actions of LE in Dallas is making it just that much more difficult.

In a recent crackdown on solicitation in Northwest Dallas, thirty clients found themselves in cuffs facing charges. The Dallas Police Special Investigations Division, with some backup from the Northwest Prostitution Task Force and the Northwest Crime Reduction Team/Deployment, decided to hit up areas known for illegal sex trade activities on March 27. They were mainly after those looking to pay for some extra services.

The operation aimed to tackle head-on a long-standing issue that often gets overshadowed by the city's bright lights. According to the Dallas LE, they not only nabbed 30 clients but also grabbed five handguns and a wad of cash totaling over $3,400 – money that might have ended up back on those same streets they're trying to clean up.

But these crackdowns aren't just about slapping cuffs on people. They're part of a bigger effort to make clients think twice before diving into the hobby. The goal isn't just to catch offenders but also to show the risks involved.

There's no chance of anyone here being caught up in this. If you read how much money was confiscated between the 30 clients, it would appear they were picked up in Dallas's hotspots known for escorting, like parts of Queens are known for in New York. $3,400 between the 30 of them tells the story of Backpage prices, and not too many of us are paying anything lower than $1,200 these days.

Still, whenever a story like this comes to light, I see it as a reminder of what could happen if we aren't cautious and smart about navigating in this hobby. A lot of this comes with research, preparation, and caution, but the majority is all guts. Trusting when something feels right and when it doesn't. There's nothing wrong with walking away from an incall or canceling a date. Better to do this than deal with LE.
