Are the Email notifications about watched threads helpful for you?
Whenever you create a thread or reply to a thread, there is a checkbox "Watch Thread" that is automatically checked.
This is where the emails are generated from.
I believe you can also adjust email notifications in your account, if I am not mistaken.
