In 2016 xhamster would take a massive risk with a new reality show called "The sex factor".

The producers behind the show had hoped that "the sex factor" would become the american idol of porn, but they were indeed very wrong.

The shows premise was that 16 people who wanted to become pornstars (8 men and 8 women) would compete for a grand prize of One Million Dollars & a professional contract with a top adult production studio.

The contestant went through challenges and tasks related to the adult entertainment industry, and judges evaluated their performances.
Each week, the judges would assess the contestants' performances and make decisions about who would be eliminated based on various criteria.

The judges of the show were Asa Akira, Tori Black, Remy LaCroix & Lex Steele.

The show only ran for one season split into 10 episodes, each being 30 minutes long. The number of viewers went down drastically from the start of the show to the last episode.
The show also gathered a ton of negative reviews from critics which made the shows demise inevitable. Furthermore, it also faced several legal issues with a few production companies.

The premise of it all were flawed to begin with and if you add all of that with the promise of a million dollar prize for the winner, you have a reality show that is destined to fail.

I remember when it aired. I watched the first episode and that was it. Boring as hell.

Did you guys watch/remember it?
