Hotels are coming up often in provider discussions and as we know it affects them then it ultimately affects clients. Providers have a lot of things in common the biggest being they stay in hotels and prior to the last couple years staying in a hotel was very affordable depending where you stayed, that seems to be fleeting now. With inflation being what it is today hotel prices have skyrocketed making it difficult for a lot of providers to book and have extended stays, which is why you see a lot of providers staying one a day in a place at a time.

Like I said, what effects the provider effects us. With the rise of hotel fees so does the rate per hour of the provider. We absolutely don't need another reason for a provider to raise their prices, but seeing it from their POV its really out of their hands. Going down the line of inflation starting with the economy the hospitality industry that is the hotel business will take a major hit more then anyone. Inflation can affect factors such as operating costs, labor costs, and the cost of raw materials, which can ultimately influence hotel prices. Still, it's important to you know that hotel prices can be influenced by several other factors as well, such as demand, competition, and seasonal times.

We have to be ready to deal with the rise in rates as they come. Providers have to make a profit from their tours and the last thing we all want is that ATF provider to not visit our city, because of the lack bookings. Remember, the provider spends their own money to book in these hotels and hopes to make a profit in the city she's touring in, it's hard to do that with hotels being what they are.

Hopefully we have a little time before it reaches every provider and we can enjoy ourselves with low rates, but as things go along we can only wait.
